The Adult Industry Association doesn’t always function as a full-fledged trade association for those working in the adult sector. However, for members from all segments, the association mainly acts as a social and business networking platform focused on the industry. Members of the industry can complain to the Adult Industry Association’s complaint committee against studios, producers, performers, and other businesses and people for a variety of reasons. These excuses cover everything from CSAM to STDs that weren’t revealed prior to production. Although premium membership choices start at $5 per month or $50 per calendar year, association membership is free.

PASS collaborates with businesses in the adult entertainment sector to protect the public’s health within the community that produces adult movies. PASS only keeps a binary database containing “yes” or “no” information indicating if work authorization is allowed. The work allowance determinations are made by public health professionals who have the necessary licensure based on the findings from the PASS groups and illness testing.
